Im super excited to be collaborating with one of my favorite online stores PrettyLittleThing for today's post.! I love PLT - they bring us the latest fashion trends with affordable price tags all without having to leave our house.!- and when they approached me to do a post with them around one of my fav holidays - well it was a match made in heaven.!
Growing up I never missed a parade. I have so many great memories of watching a fine show of tractors and vintage cars go down the street with my family as we desperately tried to catch sweets someone was throwing out the back of a trailer (just me? lol) and as we grow up we seemed to find ourselves in the pub Paddys Night.!
So I decided to put together two outfits to give you some inspiration on how to stay stylish this Paddy's Day - whether your heading off to the parade or a night on the town with your squad.!!
Look 1 - Day at the Parade
This is for my gals who want to be comfortable - but cute.!
With full reign of the site I decided to pick out this long sleeved khaki bodycon dress and wanting to stay on theme (ie green) I paired it with a lime shaggy cardi that brings the dress to life. I've actually fallen in love with this dress-cardi combo and cannot wait to rock it at the parade.! I opted to add some comfort with a pair of cons and a backpack (coz where else will store my stash of sweets.!?) and kept accessories to a minimum as this cardigan can stand for itself.!

*Im wearing a size M in the cardi and I went for a size up as the dress is bodycon and wanted a bit more wiggle room and picked up a size 12*

With this shaggy cardigan the combo is actually super warm (the top half anyway!) but if you're not too keen on the idea of baring your legs add some tights and swap out the cons for some flat ankle boots.

Look 2 - To Paddy.! *cheers*
So now for my ladies that have watched the parade on the telly and are off to celebrate in style for the night - the suit is the new dress.!
A big trend this season is the trouser suit. Id been looking for the perfect one and thanks to PLT I think I've found it.! This emerald green two piece screams glam and perfect for a night out on the town with your gals. For a more glam look I've paired this with some strappy heels, a black handbag (big enough to fit a pair of flats in or course.!) and kept accessories to a simple pair of tassel earrings.

God didn't gift me with the longest of legs so I like to roll up the bottoms of my trousers to show off my shoes a little more. If your not in the mood for heights however you could also pop on a pair of trainers to give this outfit a more chilled vibe.

I've had so much fun working on this post with PrettyLittleThing and its really gotten me in the mood for Paddys Day.
