The countdown to my favourite time of year is on - HALLOWEEN.!!!! 🎃👻
"On October 3rd" I was inspired by Mean Girls of course! - if you don't get the October 3rd reference you are not welcome here.! (lol) and what better to do then the BuRN BoOK.!!
Popped into Tesco last saturday as you do for the food shop and decided to take a little wander down to the clothes for 'the look'. Honestly wasn't expecting to see anything but a few plain t-shirts and maybe some jazzy socks but my god was I surprised.!
There is SO many nice things in there.! I couldn't help myself so I went around and picked up a few items - I ended up spending quite a bit of coin considering that I was in a supermarket but everything was just so lovely and really good quality.!
I decided to film a try on haul video that you can check out below....
So next time when your in doing the food shop take a wander over to the clothing section- you definitely won't be disappointed.!
I honestly really love filming these types videos and YouTube in general so make sure you SUBSCRIBE to my channel as I'll be posting to there once a week.!
I'm officially OBSESSED with Ariana Grande's Thank U Next album - I've been listening to it on repeat since it came out.! I don't know what it was but the second I started listening to it I just got inspired and wanted to recreate her fabulous album cover - her music just made me want to get up and grind... "happiness is the price of red bottoms" and all (and they're not cheap.!!)
The countdown is officially on to the 2018 Blog Awards Ireland - still cannot believe that I have made it to the final for Best Beauty Blog two years in a row.! So very grateful to everyone who reads my blog.!
This years theme (to my delight) is Día de Muertos or Day of the Dead.! We all know how much I love Halloween and any excuse to dress up and paint my face - which brings us to my latest creation....
I love October - not only is it by birthday but it's Halloween.!! By far Halloween is my favorite holiday (yes even over Christmas) I love how its all spooky and creepy and its the one time of the year that you can really play around with makeup and get creative.!!
Every year I love to paint my face for Halloween - even if I go nowhere I'll be walking around the house looking all sorts of crazy.! This year's first look is a cute deer that is perfect for anyone who going to a last minute Halloween part and doesn't know what to go as just whip of some bonzer and pop your hair up in space buns and your off.! (Alternatively if you don't have a white eyeliner in your makeup bag use a black eye liner to draw leopard print marks to replace the white dots)
We all know I love a good dupe - so say hello to the Huda Beauty mini liquid lipstick set dupe form Penneys.!!! Penneys (or Primark to the rest of the world) have covered all shade bases by releasing 3 sets for a bargain €5 (the Huda Beauty sets retail for €37 each).
I feel like it's been a hot minute since I last posted to here (#SorryNotSorry!) I guess I just wasn't feeling it there for awhile so FN&M took a back seat. Sometimes you need some down time - but I'll talk about that in a later post - today is makeup day.!!
SoSueMe or Suzanne Jackson for those of you who don't know is one of Ireland's top bloggers who has launched quite a few beauty products over the years. Her latest makeup product to hit our shelves was SOSUSKIN - a collection of cream contour sticks. The range consists of three contour shades (Warm, Cool & Dark), one highlight/glow (Iridescent) and a concealer (Light) and retail at €15.95.
Today's Halloween look is one for all my gals who don't keep a stock of Halloween makeup in their drawers.! I put this look together with what I could find in my makeup bag because sometimes its a little unrealistic to go out and spend a pretty penny on colourful face paint and fake blood.
On Saturday the 12th of November I attended the Blogger Conference and it really was one of the best things Ive ever gone to. Emma O Farrell put together an extraordinary line up which inculded some top bloggers such as Anouuska, Joanne Larby and Johnny Ward.
So this weekend my sister and I decided to be tourists in our hometown.
I remember our mam used to bring us to Westport House when we were little and its changed sooo much - the only thing thats the same is the bunny (Pinky I believe hes called) that they bring out for the kids. This old bunny looks like he could star in a horror movie.! lol Maybe thats just me as I have a MASSIVE fear of people dressed up as characters (I was scared by one as a child and since then I just cant.!) some say its irrational but I just don't like the way they get right up in your space.!!
ANYWAY even though we didn't go on any of the rides (word ride used very loosely) we still had a fun day.!
Next time we're definitely going on the mini train for old times sake
For my 21st birthday my sister got us flights to Paris. And can I just say that it was the best trip ever. We stayed in such a nice little hotel in Bastille. We were only there for four days but we made them count. We hit EVERY attraction.!
Heres a look at my outfits of the day... It was really cold while we were there so I dont have any photos of my outfit on day 1 but it was just a 'how to survive the cold' look- a massive jacket and scarf.! (Please note in the following pictures Im freezing my ass off.!)
