Cocktails with Lo | Strawberry Daiquiri

The sun is shining and it's a bank holiday weekend can only mean one thing - cocktails.!! Its super warm out - can you believe this weather? We're currently getting 26°C here in the West of Ireland and it feels like we're on holidays ...and lets face it this is as close as we're gonna get to holidays this year.

So let's talk cocktails... here's what you'll need to make some frozen strawberry daiquiris:

100g of frozen strawberries

few ice ice cubes

Juice of 1/2 a lime  

1 1/2 spoons of sugar

100ml of rum 

Serves 1

Mix the strawberries, lime juice, sugar, ice and rum in a blender until smooth. Add a lime wedge to the glass to decorate (optional) and enjoy.!

Perfect thing to sit outside in the sunshine with - all we're missing is a pool.!!

Back on the Blog!!

Welcome back to the blog - yes it's been months but I'm back baby.!

I lost all motivation over the christmas while I was taking a bit of a break from the blog, what was meant to be a week or two turned into four months - oops.! Sometimes you just need take a step back and chill. Its okay to do nothing for a bit and that can be especially said in the times we are in now, it's a very stressful for everyone and I know I found my anxiety started to creep back over the past few weeks.

Tea in the morning it’s like a hug in a mug but coffee all day it’s necessary to keep me going lol 

What made you decide to start blogging? 

For me blogging was all accidental I never set out to blog just thought it was a great idea to keep a diary of why you have in your wardrobe and it all progressed from there honestly can’t believe how far I have come.

I don't know what it was but the second I started listening to it I just got inspired and wanted to recreate her fabulous album cover - her music just made me want to get up and grind... "happiness is the price of red bottoms" and all (and they're not cheap.!!)

Welcome back to another installment of my Interview With A Blogger series.! Todays interview is with the fabulous 925 Style.

For anyone who doesn't know 925 Style is an anonymous blogger who shares the best workwear style.! I absolutely love scrolling through 925 Style's instagram page to get inspiration - Im also kinda obsessed with her hat.! 925 Style has also launched a personal online shopping experience called 925Styled on her website which provides an effortless and convenient shopping experience.

I was so happy when 925 Style said she'd take part in the series as I was dying to find out more about the blogger under that fab hat.! Here's how our interview went...

What made you decide to start blogging?
I have always loved fashion. I started 925 Style because there was no blog focusing on workwear and it didn't make sense to me, since they are the clothes you have to wear everyday. All clothes I feature are available to buy now, making it easy for everyone to dress well and feel good about themselves. That is what it's all about!

Hello my loves and welcome to my first post of the New Year.! This year I'll be continuing my interview with a blogger series and I'm super excited to have to have Em Sheldon from Emtalks on the blog.!

Em is one of my favorite UK bloggers. You can find anything from beauty & fashion to fitness & wellbeing on her blog and I'm obsessed with her YouTube videos.! - every time I watch any of her try on haul videos I'm like 'yup adding THAT to my basket.!' I've gotten many an outfit on her recommendation!

Tea! I love green tea but then again, I am a sucker for a latte but I’ll go with tea as it’s the thing I drink the most! I am from Yorkshire too so maybe that’s why, Yorkshire tea is famous haha. 

What made you decide to start blogging? 

I started blogging as a way to show my love for writing on my personal statement for my university application.

Go Paperless This Christmas | FN&M x Paperless Post

With three days left to Christmas I think it's safe to say that the cut off point for sending post is well and truly gone.! Unless of course if you go paperless and use Paperless Post to send out your last minute Christmas cards. 

Paperless Post is an online platform used to send electronic post. Paperless Post works on a system of coins where each card/invitation cost as little as 2 coins (€5 will get you 20 coins). The Future is Paperless | FN&M x Paperless Post

As you know I'm obsessed with stationary (I love buying notebooks as much as I do clothes.!) so you can imagine how excited I was when I got the opportunity to work with Paperless Post and explore the world of well paperless post.! 

We all have to do our bit to save the environment and by doing something as simple as sending an electronic birthday card this year instead of a paper one will make all the difference.!

Wild Lights at Dublin Zoo

Last weekend I headed to Dublin to see the Festival of Wild Lights at Dublin Zoo.

This festival took place after hours at the Zoo when all the animals were safely tucked away in bed for the night. Instead of seeing real animals that night we were treated to these amazing silk crafted lanterns.
